Every few months a fad will hit the internet and everyone will jump on board.
Even the not-so-smart Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge.
Usually, as a company, we watch from afar. However, this time a challenge came along and it was too good to pass up.
The LockNet Mannequin Challenge
Over a year ago LockNet filmed its very own Mannequin Challenge. Granted, we jumped on this bandwagon right as it was on its way out the door, but we still got in at the last minute. No one ever called us the cool kids.
In order to make this happen, it took some serious finagling, but with the help of Dave Path, we got everything under control and filming went off without a hitch. Dave was able to work his magic with the camera and everyone was really impressed with the shots he got. After filming at the office we headed over to catch some mannequins at the warehouse.
I can’t say enough good things about the employees at the warehouse. They were more than happy to jump in, participate and really have fun with the whole thing. They came up with some great poses and were really easy to work with.
We had a friendly competition between the warehouse and the office to see who could get more “likes” on their video on our Facebook page. (The contest is over now and the office beat the warehouse by a nose.) Whichever team got the most votes, got lunch provided by Locknet.
It was a fun way to get everyone a little bit more involved and to inject a little bit of “team spirit” into our company.
