Well, I’m exaggerating a little.

We had precisely one big thing happen this week, but it’s something I’ve been working on for awhile.

LockNet officially launched its first ever video newsletter and I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

The New LockNet Newsletter

The main purpose of our newsletter has always been to bring you up-to-date information that is useful. We’ve always wanted it to be a resource you can turn to for education in the door and lock industry. Between this blog and the former newsletter, we are confident we’ve  accomplished that.

We aren’t losing the resourcefulness in the new version. In fact, we hope it’s even more entertaining to learn about doors and locks. (It’s okay. You can admit the subject is a little dry, at best.)

In this edition I got to sit down with Elise Miller, our director of business development—and who some of you may know—and rehash some of the most popular topics she was approached with at the latest trade show.

To the surprise of no one, the biggest topic turned out to be key systems!

We talk about key systems so much here we even gave them their own little spot where you can get all of your information. It’s nice to know our thoughts are validated and it still is such a hot topic!

Delayed egress was another popular subject and while we don’t go into tremendous detail (hey, I have to save some of the information for future editions) we cover some of the new trends we’re seeing in that category.

So, without giving too much away, here’s the first ever LockNet Video Newsletter! I really hope you enjoy it! If you have any questions, comments, or complaints I would love hear them! And, of course, if you’d like to sign up, we’d love to have you! You can do that here.

You can leave them directly on the YouTube page, email me, or feel free to leave them in the comments on this post.

If you’re someone who’s just been dying for an answer you have about key systems or delayed egress, give us a shout! We’ll be more than happy to chat with you!
