LockNet Goes to the ASIS Conference

Bits from the Industry > LockNet Goes to the ASIS Conference

We started the LockNet Video Newsletter over a year ago and to say that I’m shocked that it’s picked up as much momentum that it has is the understatement of forever.

Recently we were asked by ASSA Abloy if they could get involved in the newsletter somehow. They were interested in being on the show and wondered if we would be open to having them on for interviews. Of course, we jumped at the chance.

The opportunity arose when we were invited to the ASIS Conference in  Dallas, Texas. We flew down for a quick trip and interviewed anyone at ASSA Abloy who wanted to be on the show. It was so much fun and a chance to change up the format of the newsletter.

ASIS Conference in Dallas, Texas

We jumped at the chance, mainly because we are always on the look out for ways to switch things up and provide more value. ASSA Abloy, a great company in the security industry, invited us down to Dallas, Texas for the ASIS Conference where we could interview several members from their team and get some more information on some of their products. So off we went, our production squad of myself, cameraman, David Path, and my supervisor, Greg Potts, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

It was a short but exhausting trip. We only stayed one night but were able to squeeze in as much of Dallas as we could.

We spent an entire day filming interview after interview.

Dave caught some great footage of the show itself, along with some really fascinating interviews.

And with that we are super proud to present our new video newsletter series from ASIS.

You can expect to learn several things from this series. We talked to ASSA Abloy employees about some of their new products which focus on ways to save energy and increase sustainability. We also got to hear about some pretty amazing awards they won while they were down there.

Can’t wait? Watch the intro to the series here.

The LockNet Video Newsletter

The video newsletter has evolved from being a bit of a passion project to something people are actually taking notice of and that is something LockNet is really proud of.

I, for one, can’t wait to see where it takes us next.
