LockNet Gives Thanks: Finishing Out November

Bytes from LockNet > LockNet Gives Thanks: Finishing Out November

Even though Thanksgiving was last Thursday, it doesn’t mean we’re done being thankful over here.

We still have a few shout-outs to add to our LockNet Gives Thanks series and there’s no way these special team members could be left off the list.

LockNet Gives Thanks – The Final Edition

So, grab a plate of leftovers (if you still have any) and sit tight. We have a few more employees to be thankful for.

Teresa Waldon: LockNet’s Official Chef Extraordinaire

We’re going to start this post off with one of the best cooks I’ve ever sampled food from. Teresa Waldon has been at LockNet for over a year and while I don’t work with her directly because she’s in our Architectural Door and Hardware department, the people who do work with her on the daily have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. Multiple people emailed me to let me know they were thankful for Teresa.

Most importantly, without Teresa  LockNet wouldn’t have nearly as many delicious dishes and desserts at potlucks.

One colleague in particular had this to say, “Teresa has a generous spirit (of ideas, industry knowledge, and cuisine) and has taken time outside of work to create spectacular dishes to share with the department to brighten our days!”

The quickest way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach and Teresa has paved a very clear path!

Ian Greene: LockNet’s Go-To Guy For Life

Oh Ian, where can we start?

Ian has been at LockNet for years and he’s been one of our go-to guys for just about anything and everything.

He’s willing to pick up extra slack when needed. He always offers to help out, even with tasks outside of his position and he knows everything you could ever need  to know in the door and lock industry.

It was no surprise when someone emailed me to say this about Ian, “Ian helps connect our valued technicians from all over the nation to the heart of the LockNet family right here in Kentucky. He has a way of putting a smile on your face, and has helped more than a few co-workers after hours to get into their homes or cars when they were locked out.”

He’s a keeper.

Kory Chandler is a Shining Example of Rockstar Work Ethic

Kory has been at LockNet for a couple of years now working in the ADHS department.

In a world full of talkers, Kory gets his job done quietly and efficiently and rarely complains. He’s a hard worker who is dedicated to his job.

Kory received a ton of praise for his work ethic. This comment is a great example of the feeling of fellow team members across the board,  “What drives an employee to commute almost three hours daily to work at LockNet and still be one of the first to arrive and last to leave? Kory has dedication and discipline. His commitment to do whatever it takes to help out our customers is what pushes Kory over the top.”

Key Core and Shipping

While not a specific person, there was enough praise for the Key Core and Shipping departments here at LockNet for them to deserve a call out of their own!

These two departments work incredibly hard to get their work completed on time. And they work on very short deadlines a lot of the time. So it wasn’t as shock when I heard from several about how thankful they were for these two departments.

One person said, “I am so thankful for Key Core and Shipping. They’ve been doing so much with me lately on the projects I’m working on!”

They definitely deserved to be on the list.

#LockNetGivesThanks

This might be our last post in this series but that doesn’t mean LockNet isn’t constantly thankful for our employees. Chad Miller, our CEO, states time and time again how grateful he is for all the employees here and all the hard work they do.

We hope you’ve enjoyed this series and maybe even thought, “Huh… that sounds like a really great place to work…”
