Did you know that someone can steal your identity at the gas station pump when you swipe your credit card?  I didn’t, and I was shocked to hear how easy it is for thieves to do so.  NBC found that a master key gives access to gas pumps all across the country, making it a cinch for thieves to install Bluetooth card readers in the pumps.  Station owners need to change the locks on their pumps to thwart this type of identity theft.  Next time you are at the pump, you may want to find out if the locks have been changed before swiping your card.
