Halloween is always a fun time at LockNet, and it isn’t because there is an abundance of candy everywhere. (I mean, that’s part of the reason, sure– but there’s more to it than just that.) Haunted houses are another thing that comes to mind, which brings me to my post on how to determine whether your house is haunted, or if you just need some simple door maintenance. (Spoiler alert– you just need simple door maintenance– unless you built your house on top of an Indian burial ground. In that case, you should probably just move.)

You folks want to know how I know that I’m going to have a good day? It’s when I realize I can connect Michael J. Fox to a blog post about the security industry, that’s how. Throw in a mention of my grandma’s perfect homemade fried apple pies, and I’m golden.
When I was a young child I had grand dreams of what the security industry was going to be like in the future. Weird? Yes, but true! Yes, it’s another Halloween-themed post but, I’m telling you– LockBytes has a lot to offer when Halloween rolls around! This one has a lot of great security education information when the time comes for us to barricade ourselves in our houses and hide from the brain-eating zombies that are lurking right outside our doors. It won’t be pretty.
There will be a lot of casualties.
And you’ll probably have to fight off some of your neighbors.
But hey, them’s the rules.
And even if the zombie apocalypse never materializes, at least you’ll have some quality info on everything from multipoint locking doors to a simple, yet effective, battery-powered door alarm. This post offers it all up.
