Employee Spotlight – Justin Jewell

Employee Spotlight > Employee Spotlight – Justin Jewell

LockNetEmployee Spotlights are always a little tough to wrangle people in for. Most people (believe it or not) are actually pretty private and don’t want the spotlight on them. Usually, before one is written, a good thirty minutes is spent with me trying to coerce them into taking the survey and letting me actually write a post about them.

Sometimes I’ll get the rare employee who is all about some Employee Spotlight action.

But most of the time I have to beg, borrow and steal to get them to answer the few questions we always ask.

Justin, thankfully, was somewhere in the middle. He wasn’t what I would call “thrilled” about being the center of attention, but he didn’t downright refuse me either. I feel like this is a happy medium. This is something I can work with.

Justin Jewell has been with LockNet since 2004 and is the Inventory Control Manager. (He has to deal with me quite a bit during trade show season. Lucky him!) Instead of me spoiling all the fun, read on for the scoop on Justin!

  1. I am Justin’s aunt. I was there in the hospital when he was born. my oldest daughter (3 years old then) had a broken femur and was also in the hospital at the same time of his birth. It was a time of Joy and fright. Justin was a fun addition to our family. Growing up he had the highest pitch scream of anyone I’d ever met. On a trip when he was a young man, we all went on a mission trip to Haiti. On returning to the guest house, Justin found a LARGE hairy spider in his suitcase. Jumping on the bed, he showed that he was still capable of those high pitch screams. Love ya Justin.
