LockNet’s Sur-Lock provides control and security for exit doors in the most
demanding of environments. Incredibly rugged, the Sur-Lock prevents
unauthorized entrance, restricts unauthorized exit, and instantly provides
emergency egress. With its built-in 105db alarm, the Sur-Lock is a powerful
deterrent to insider theft while its two ½” hardened steel deadbolts – one
deadbolt on the active side and one on the hinge side of the door – present a
formidable obstacle to forced entry.
The Sur-Lock uses an extraordinary type of bolt keeper whose claw-like solid
steel fingers securely fasten your door shut, while being flexible enough to
tolerate many of the alignment problems that plague high use doors. An
unauthorized exit results in the Sur-Lock’s alarm sounding to alert management
– an alarm that can only be reset by an authorized key. Once the key is
removed, the alarm is fully armed to announce a subsequent unauthorized exit.
The Sur-Lock opens easily and smoothly with fewer than 5 pounds of pressure –
well within the limits of ADA requirements. A built-in non-resettable counter –
that increments for each opening of the device – assists in providing you with
exit accountability.
